Happy Thanksgiving!

Since we just made two trips to Texas in the past two weeks, we decided to spend Thanksgiving in Kansas.  Our sweet neighbors invited us to spend the holiday with them at their farm.  The night before Thanksgiving we drove to Adam and Ginger's cabin which is about thirty minutes away.  It's more like a regular house, not a cabin.  We built a campfire, roasted weenies, made s'mores, and of course Steve broke out his guitar for some campfire songs.

We left Thanksgiving morning to celebrate on the farm.  There must have been at least 50 people there.  They were all so welcoming and acted like we belonged there.  The food was also pretty amazing.  The boys had a great time and got to have a real farm experience.

The tire swing was very popular too.

Hudson and Landon collected fresh eggs from the chicken coop!  We got to take them home and made eggs with them the next morning.  They were delicious!

Isn't this what you think of when you think of Kansas?  Bales of hay, a horse trailer, and big blue sky?

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!
